Carlos Silvestre López graduated in Chemical Engineering at University of Valencia in 2019, receiving the Extraordinary Degree Award. He obtained his MSc in Chemical Engineering at University of Valencia in 2020. The same year, he joined GI2AM to begin his PhD in Chemical, Environmental and Processes Engineering at University of Valencia. His PhD is focused on the application of advanced membrane technology for the recovery of butanol from fermentation broth and integrating those technologies in a continuous bioreactor for ABE fermentation with in-situ product recovery.
