Alejo Valles Sáez was graduated in Biotechnology at the Universitat de València in 2015. He obtained his MSc at Universidad Complutense de Madrid where specialized in industrial and environmental biotechnology in 2017, the same year he joined GI2AM with a researcher contract. The main objective of his work is to development of integrated saccharification-ABE fermentation configurations from cellulolytic bacterial strains and solvents.
He got his PhD in Chemical, Environmental and Processes Engineering at the Universitat de Valencia (2022). His PhD research work was performed on the development of the simultaneous saccharification and fermentation on ABE fermentation with rice straw as feedstock.
